The CB125F is comprehensively improved and upgraded for the 2026 model year. Ideal for beginners and commuters alike, the eighth-liter engine shines with a low-friction Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) engine, which enables extremely economical consumption thanks to an automatic start-stop system (for the first time on a Honda with manual transmission) and meets the Euro 5+ emission standard. The redesigned bodywork is based on the design of larger models. The facelift is completed by a 4.2-inch TFT display with integrated Honda RoadSync connectivity and a USB-C port on the handlebars. A centre stand, headlights and rear light with LED lighting technology are also on board as standard.
Honda is upgrading the popular CB125F, which is suitable for the A1 driver's license, with a comprehensive model update for the 2026 model year. The technical optimisations and the modernised design support the appearance of a machine with a larger displacement. This means that the CB125F remains an attractive offer for beginners and commuters of all ages who are looking for stylish and cost-effective mobility and appreciate modern technologies.
In the ten years since its launch in 2015, the Honda CB125F has found over 82,000 satisfied owners in Europe. The United Kingdom recorded the most sales, closely followed by France and Germany.
A revised Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) engine serves as a reliable single-cylinder power source, combining economical operating costs with impressive performance and pleasant running smoothness.
A new ECU control unit, a modified catalytic converter and a second lambda sensor system with OBD2 interface ensure that the 2026 CB125F fulfils precise monitoring of the air/fuel components to comply with the Euro 5+ emission standard. Fuel consumption is only 1.4 litres per 100 km. The 11-liter tank thus allows a range of over 700 km.
The new CB125F shines as the first Honda with a manual transmission equipped with an automatic start-stop system. Until now, the Vision 110, SH125i/150i, SH Mode 125 and PCX125 scooters as well as the Gold Wing models with DCT dual-clutch transmission were available. The start-stop technology switches off the engine when stationary – e.g. at traffic lights – and thus reduces fuel consumption and emissions. When the clutch is re-engaged for starting, the engine then automatically starts up again.
The sophisticated design update conveys even more "big bike" style, as the broad-shouldered tank is based on larger models in the CB family and adds extra dynamism to the taut lines – supported by a modified rear fairing. The front spoiler and black flyscreen look compact, but allow sufficient wind protection with the side tank covers. In addition, new LED light units at the front and rear provide improved visibility thanks to a highly visible vertical light signature.
The facelift of the 2026 CB125F is rounded off by a new 4.2-inch TFT colour display that integrates Honda RoadSync connectivity for navigation, messaging or music enjoyment. For convenient power supply, a USB-C charging socket is mounted on the handlebars.
