TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RX

As the new top-of-the-range model of the TRIUMPH Roadster models, the traditional British manufacturer presents the exclusive new Speed Triple 1200 RX for 2025. With its even more focused seating position and sportier ergonomics, the "RX" perfectly embodies the essence of the Speed Triple model history. The new special series also features even more state-of-the-art electronics and technology, which already impressed with the introduction of the Speed Triple 1200 RS in March.

 

 

 

 

The limited RX edition offers a significant plus in sporty focus with a milled upper triple clamp and new clip-on handlebar stubs that are 69 mm lower and 52 mm further forward than on the current Speed Triple 1200 RS. Fittingly, the footpegs of the RX are 14.5 mm higher and mounted 25.5 mm further back than on the RS model.

 
The state-of-the-art Öhlins electronic suspension ensures precise control and is perfectly complemented by the Öhlins SD EC steering damper. The permanently pressurized design of the steering damper ensures absolutely backlash-free operation in all conditions. The electronic spring and damping elements, including the steering damper, are controlled by the Öhlins Smart EC3 system, resulting in light and extremely agile handling with the best possible stability. The system can be adjusted via the Öhlins Objective Based Tuning Interface on the instrument panel.

 

The new Akrapovič silencer, which is only fitted as standard on the RX model, features a titanium outer shell and bracket, as well as a carbon fibre end cap and exhaust flap cover, and is finished with a laser-engraved Akrapovič logo. An improved performance driver's seat with an embossed RX logo increases both performance and comfort by making it easier for the driver to move around the seat.

The RX's distinctive look is enhanced by an exclusive graphic design in TRIUMPH Performance Yellow and Granite with white RX accents. The racing-inspired front fender and carbon fiber tank fairing add to the exclusivity of the design. A further colour accent is provided by the stripe on the rear wheel in TRIUMPH Performance Yellow.

 
Just like the new Speed Triple 1200 RS, the "RX" also offers plenty of three-cylinder power, exhilarating handling and a high-quality driver-oriented technology package. The 1160 cc three-cylinder engine delivers 183 hp at 10,750 rpm and 128 Nm at 8,750 rpm and impresses with first-class acceleration and maximum performance.

 

 
 

The powerful triple offers the optimal mix of the best torque at low revs and power in the upper rev range and convinces on the road as well as in racetrack performance. In addition, there is direct throttle response and smooth power delivery. The revised dynamic balancing of the crankshaft, which was used for the first time in the "RS", ensures a significant improvement in engine concentricity.
 
The driver-oriented equipment and technology package of the current Speed Triple offers an exceptional level of adjustment options. The latest-generation semi-active Öhlins SmartEC3 suspension includes the state-of-the-art Öhlins Objective Based Tuning Interface (OBTi), which allows the rider to easily adjust the dynamic damping characteristics for a wide range of driving situations.

 
There is also a new, independently adjustable wheelie control system, engine brake control and a brake slide assist system as well as fully adjustable cruise control. Other equipment highlights include Brembo Stylema® brake calipers and a Brembo MCS handbrake cylinder with adjustable lever travel and gear ratio. A system that offers impressive braking performance and a perfect braking feel even in the most demanding conditions. The Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres deliver the best track performance on a fully street-legal tyre.
