Retro Spirit, Next Generation Performance
Twin with a strong character
Proven in the sister models of the new mid-range and praised in countless tests for its powerful torque, the 776 cc in-line twin forms the heart of the new Suzuki GSX-8T/TT. The powerful acceleration from low revs underlines the character of this machine, which brings the essence of motorcycling to life.
In addition, the 270-degree firing sequence gives the two-cylinder a throaty sound, while the cross-balancer as a modern balancer shaft concept ensures smoother handling.
Chassis and seating position
The classic steel frame combines comfort, directional stability and agile handling – properties that are supported by the high-quality KYB suspension elements. The lightweight cast wheels also contribute to the playful handling of the GSX-8T/8TT. The 310 double disc brake on the front wheel in conjunction with radially mounted brake calipers ensures safe deceleration.
The shape of the butted aluminium handlebar is matched to the geometry of the machine down to the smallest detail, contributing to the active, upright riding position. This is matched by the close knee closure on the 16.5-litre fuel tank and the seat contour, which offers optimum support for sporty driving as well as the necessary long-distance comfort.
Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.)
Carefully selected from the wide range of modern Suzuki assistance systems, the GSX-8T/TT has important functions for a safe and dynamic driving experience without the machine looking technologically overloaded.
• Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS)
• Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS): 3 levels (+ OFF)
• Electronic throttle system with ride-by-wire
• Bidirectional quick-shifter
• Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
• Suzuki Easy-Start System
• Suzuki Low RPM Assist
The new Suzuki GSX-8TT: Classic street racer, interpreted in a modern way
In addition to the design and equipment features of its unfaired sister model, the GSX-8TT has attractive features that work out the traditional line of classic street racers.
• Sporty half-shell fairing
The round headlight of the GSX-8TT is wrapped in a sporty half-shell fairing, which makes references to the design language of the 1970s and 1980s. In line with the principle of "Retro Spirit, Next Generation Performance", design and functionality also go hand in hand here. For example, the fairing is equipped with pressure relief openings, and the outwardly curved edge of the windshield ensures a vortex-free airflow for a relaxed driving experience even at high speeds.
• Dynamic engine spoiler
The lines of the engine spoiler are carefully matched to the headlight trim, fuel tank and radiator cowls, creating a smooth transition to the exhaust system. This seamless design enhances the sporty appearance of the GSX-8TT.
Classic Modernism: The Colour Scheme
The GSX-8T is more than just a motorcycle – it's a tribute to the essence of motorcycling. Its matt black rear gives it a powerful presence and contrasts with the vibrant colours of the tank in an eye-catching way.
The silver subframe draws a clean line – a horizontal signature that exudes durability and precision. The golden anodized tubes of the fork, on the other hand, symbolize the use of modern technologies as part of the retro concept.
For those who want to live the unique motorcycle spirit of the 1970s and 1980s, the GSX-8TT brings real street racer feeling back to the road. Black fork tubes and monochromatic wheels echo the design language of an era where motorcycling was pure, raw and passionate.
Both models share a special detail: a raised element on the black-painted radiator grille, which relates the number eight from the model name to the iconic 8 ball in billiards – the game-deciding ball. The striking three-dimensional brand lettering fits in with this – at the same time a recourse to design features of a great era and a proud brand commitment.
The GSX-8T is available in the colors Metallic Mat Steel Green (QVP), Candy Burnt Gold (QSY) and Metallic Mat Black (YKV) at a price of € 10,990.00 (RRP ex works, plus additional and delivery costs).
The Suzuki GSX-8TT will be available at a price of € 11,590.00 (RRP ex works, plus additional and delivery costs) in the colors Glass Sparkle Black (YVB) Pearl Mat Shadow Green (QU5). Both models will be available from Suzuki dealers from summer 2025.
