With their no-compromise approach, the new 2024 models bring the biggest change in the sub-500cc range to the DUKE lineup since the KTM 125 DUKE in 2011. The result is a completely new generation with new engines, a completely new chassis concept and a new design that underlines the typical extreme design language of the KTM DUKE.
For 2024, a new two-piece frame design, consisting of an all-new main frame made of steel trellis tube and a rear frame made of die-cast aluminum, improves dynamics thanks to higher torsional rigidity. At the same time, the design also increases agility and feedback from the chassis, where the new triple clamps and revised offset optimize handling and give riders more control and stability.
The frame is now also connected to an all-new curved and lightweight swingarm that wraps around the rearranged rear strut. This is installed in a staggered manner to create more space for a larger air filter box while reducing the seat height. The lower seat height has been deliberately integrated into the new DUKE design to improve accessibility without compromising on stability or handling.
A completely new generation of lightweight, compact 1-cylinder engines ensures absolute driving pleasure. The engine series, designated LC4c, includes a smaller 125 cc engine, as well as a larger 399 cc engine used in the KTM 390 DUKE. Based on the experience with the previous generation, these powerhouses have been completely redesigned. They have been equipped with newly optimized cylinder heads and transmissions and meet the EURO 5.2 standard.
The 2024 KTM DUKE series also sets new standards for the small-displacement NAKED segment with its technological advancements. All models in the range come standard with the latest version of switchable Supermoto ABS, 5-inch instrument clusters and smartphone connectivity. Plus, they can all be upgraded with an optional Quickshifter+.
With even more "DUKENESS" in each category, as well as a new metal tank and high-quality finishes, each DUKE model 2024 inspires with its very own personality and visual differences across the entire range.
KTM 390 DUKE MODEL YEAR 2024
Visually, the KTM 390 DUKE 2024 rightly sits at the top of the field and differs significantly from the rest of the DUKE 1-cylinder family. The characteristic color options "Electronic Orange" and "Atlantic Blue" dominate the look. Longer tank spoilers with distinctive air intakes, larger radiator covers and external LED position lights complete the package.
The necessary power is provided by a completely new, lightweight 1-cylinder LC4c engine with 399 cc. Not only is it lighter and more powerful than the previous generation, but it also makes the KTM 390 DUKE EURO 5+ ready and gives it a fresher look. The "CORNER ROCKET" is the perfect motorcycle for the European A2 driver's license.
The KTM 390 DUKE 2024 is also equipped with a 43 mm diameter WP APEX open-cartridge fork at the front with five-stage adjustment for rebound and compression, and at the rear with a shock absorber with split-piston function and adjustable rebound and preload. In this way, the handling can be perfectly adapted to the needs of the driver.
If you swing your leg over the new seat, you will be greeted by a brand new 5-inch TFT display with selectable driving modes. The default setting is STREET riding mode, while RAIN riding mode, as the name suggests, can be selected in adverse weather conditions for less aggressive throttle response and standard motorcycle traction control.
For the first time, a TRACK display mode is also available on the KTM 390 DUKE. This standard feature offers everything a racing driver's heart desires, such as an enlarged rev display, launch control for the perfect start and even a lap timer. Unnecessary information is reduced to the absolute minimum.
KTM 125 DUKE MODEL YEAR 2024
The KTM 125 DUKE may be the entry-level model in the KTM NAKED range, but it also makes the hearts of experienced motorcyclists beat faster. With a powerful 125cc engine, exceptional electronics and WP APEX suspension, the KTM 125 DUKE reaches whole new heights in 2024.
Visually, the KTM 125 DUKE 2024 stands out from the rest of the small DUKE lineup – with the new "Electronic Orange" and "Atlantic Blue" color options, a painted headlight surround that houses an ultra-bright LED headlight, and compact tank spoilers.
Electronically, the 2024 KTM 125 DUKE shares its 5-inch TFT display with the KTM 390 DUKE, with the TRACK display mode being optional and cornering ABS as standard. An optimized ride-by-wire system and automatic turn signal reset complete the package.
The KTM 125 DUKE 2024 is also equipped with a non-adjustable WP APEX open-cartridge front fork with 43 mm diameter and 150 mm travel, as well as a WP APEX shock absorber with split-piston function and tool-adjustable preload.
The new generation of 2024 KTM DUKE models is complemented by a comprehensive selection of KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear, designed specifically for the new DUKE range and its riders, offering performance, style, protection and comfort.
The KTM DUKE models for 2024 are expected to be available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from the end of 2023.
