Aprilia Tuono 660

This is the new Aprilia Tuono 660

The RS 660 turns the Tuono 660

Aprilia introduced the new Tuono 660. The base is the new Aprilia RS 660. The new Tuono 660 is expected to cost 10,550 euros and will be available from dealers as early as March.

This makes the Tuono 660 around 500 euros cheaper than the RS 660. This machine forms the basis for the new Tuono and has the same engine - but with 100 hp instead of 95 hp, so a slightly different mapping. In contrast to the fully clad RS, the Tuono 660 is semi-clothed and is referred to by Aprilia as a naked bike.

The Tuono 660 offers adjustable traction control, wheelie control, cruise control and even a variable engine brake. It has a wide handlebar and a small disc. The weight is ready to drive like with the RS at a slender 183 kg.

The biggest competitor of the new Aprilia is likely to be the new Triumph Trident. At 81 hp, this is somewhat weaker, but at around 7,500 euros it is also noticeably cheaper.
