It's been barely seven years since Audi bought Lamborghini Ducati through its daughter - and the brand has already arrived in the auto city. There has to be an extensive party, and on the opening weekend from April 27th to 28th there is also something going on: Stuntman and Ducati pilot Michael Threin shows a stunt show, the Gifhorner band "Creeperhead" rocks with live music and guests can practice their first own stunt on the "Wheelie Simulator" or do a round with a rental Ducati. On 27 April the course is open from 1 pm to 8 pm, on 28 April from 12 am to 6 pm. A boat shuttle takes visitors free of charge on both days at the full and half hour from the jetty in the Autostadt to the site and back again. The last trip from the Autostadt starts with the ship on both days at 5.30 p.m. If you want, you can also use the parking facilities in the Allerpark and walk to the safety course.

"Just in time for the season, together with our Group brand Ducati, we are opening our first active offer for motorcyclists in the Autostadt on the new course. Until October, we will be offering safety training in order to make bikers even more confident in handling their machine, regardless of brands and models," says Roland Clement, Chairman of the Management Board of Autostadt.

A special highlight of the opening weekend are the spectacular performances of motorcycle professionals: Stuntman Michael Threin regularly travels to national and international championships and shows wheelie circles, drifts and bournouts in the car city. Another professional on the bike demonstrates what an "slanting trainer", i.e. a special device for training extreme imbalances, looks like in action.

The safety course of the Autostadt has been specially redesigned for the new offer: The diameter of the circular track has been extended to 40 meters in order to offer a DVR-certified traininig, and road marking lines have been applied. After the opening weekend, from May to October, not only motorists and motorcyclists can also take safety training. You can choose from a basic training for 99 euros as well as an inclined training for 189 euros – both trainings are completed on your own motorcycle. All offers can be booked via the online shop of Autostadt under www.autostadt.de.
