Ducati Motor Holding delivered 53,183 motorcycles worldwide in 2019, surpassing the previous year's figure of 53,004 motorcycles. Panigale made a significant contribution to this result: with sales of 8,304 or 25% motorcycles, it is, as in the previous year, the best-selling superbike in the world.

The two new motorcycles introduced in 2019 - the Hypermotard 950 and the Diavel 1260 - achieved sales of 4,472 and 3,129 respectively, doubling the total volume of previous versions in 2018. The Multistrada family performed just as well with an increase of 3% compared to 2018, also thanks to the new 950 S and a revised 1260 Enduro. With 12,160 deliveries, the best sales result since the debut of the Bologna-built Multibike sixteen years ago was achieved.

Sales in our strongest sales market, Italy, continue to grow. Motorcycle sales there amounted to 9,474 units, an increase of 3% over 2018 and a 20% increase over the last three years. In the United States, Ducati deliveries totaled 7,682 motorcycles, a decline of only 2% for Ducati, despite the continuing negative trend in which the market shrank by 7% compared to the previous year. Brazil (+20%), Spain (+10%) and France (+8%) developed very positively. China, a country where the Italian brand is particularly valued, continued the upward trend of recent years and is with 3,200 motorcycles sold (+12%) now the fifth most important market of the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer.

This positive result of 2019 gives Ducati a confident view of the future. The product range for 2020 has been supplemented by another model: soon the dealers will receive the Streetfighter V4. In addition to the introduction of the new V2, the Panigale can count on a major upgrade of the V4, which will significantly improve performance and driving dynamics.
