Moto Guzzis have historically employed vague-feeling dry clutches that are difficult to modulate. This V100 has a hydraulic clutch with pleasing lever feel. The S model we operated was fitted...
Moto Guzzi has done an exceptional job with the V100 Mandello, and the model is a genuine alternative to the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX, Suzuki GSX-S1000GT or Yamaha Tracer 9 GT. It’s certainly got an overflow of personality the others lack, and the green/silver paint scheme, in the true hue of Moto Guzzi’s greatest hits, really hits me in the feels.
Guzzi have given the V100 Mandello a 21st century twist with new tech and modern engine design, but they haven’t erased its character. It still rocks from side to side when you blip the...
The second model is the V100 Aviazione Navale, which commemorates Moto Guzzi’s link with the Italian navy. It runs a gorgeous flat grey paint in the same style as the navy’s F35B fighter jet – and is my pick of the three colors. There’ll be 1913 examples of the Aviazione Navale created, with each unit number stamped onto the handlebar clamp.
It’s certainly a torquey motor to ride with, and drier sections of the road really let us unleash the V-twin, and it was a smooth ride when riding steadily. That power is put to the rear wheel via a shaft drive, 6-speed gearbox (the S model gets an up-down quickshifter), wet clutch with anti-hopping & assist, and ride-by-wire.
The V100 Mandello is positioned as forward-thinking “all-rounder” for the street. It has 17-inch sport wheels, a reasonably large fuel capacity, and a full-size seat to accommodate a passenger or some cargo. The front half-fairing design is practical and attractive. Integrated cutouts in the tail section accept Moto Guzzi’s accessory luggage.
The vibration typical of an idling Guzzi quickly disappeared into smooth heaps of always-available torque. There was a revvy, fun sweep of the digital tach as revs leapt toward the 9,500 rpm...
The V100 will have none of that, as a secondary counterrotating shaft removes those forces from the equation. Don’t worry; you can still feel a hint of the charming Guzzi tug when revving with...
UK. Dec 8, 2022. #1. I have been waiting like an excited puppy for Moto Guzzi to launch the V100 Mandello and for it to get to the dealers for demo rides. My local dealership Brighton Moto very kindly got in touch with me to offer me a demo on the absolutely stunning and ground breaking Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello and boy oh boy, what a bike it is.

The V100’s engine delivers significantly less torque effect than the previous generation thanks to a primary shaft that counter rotates to the crankshaft. This also allows a smaller, lighter crankshaft to be used, a construction that Moto Guzzi claims improves both engine compactness and performance.
The liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve mill not only produces 115 horsepower and 77.4 lb-ft of torque but also benefits from a new compact block architecture. Compared to the V85 TT ’s air-cooled, 853cc,...
Early in the morning of 10/17/2022, on the Moto Guzzi USA web store, I entered my online “reservation” for the 2023 V100 Mandello “S” in “Centenario” Livery (premium Verde 2121 color) – Special Edition $17,490. The customer care representative told me my Order# 190 was the 1st V100 Mandello order received by Moto Guzzi USA.
Compared to the V85 TT ’s air-cooled, 853cc, transverse V-Twin, the liter-size V100 powerplant is shorter by 4.1 inches. Guzzi puts that compact design to good use with a 58.5-inch wheelbase. A long single-sided swingarm with shaft drive steadies the Mandello at high speed while the compact chassis maintains agility in the esses.
Moto Guzzi Reviews Moto Guzzi is one of Italy s longest lasting manufacturers, first building bikes back in 1921. Long known for its reliable single-cylinder machines, Guzzi began building transverse V-Twins in the late 60s and haven t stopped since. Along with Aprilia and Vespa, Guzzi falls under the Piaggio umbrella of companies.
Guzzi says the V100 Mandello creates a new class between roadster and traditional tourer. Well, wherever it sits, we took the delicious new Guzzi for a ride from their historic headquarters on the bank of Lake Como in northern Italy. The 2023 V100 Mandello S ($17,490) is the first truly new and modern Moto Guzzi that we’ve seen in the company’s recent history. Looking back a few decades, this V100 most resembles, in our minds, the Griso eight-valve that Guzzi offered. We loved that motorcycle and always wondered when it would get a revamp or a refresh.
The liquid-cooled V100 unit displaces 1,048cc from a 96mm bore and 72mm stroke. Chain-driven double overhead cams act on four valves per cylinder. Guzzi claims 115 peak horsepower with 77.5...
Here is a message for the Austrian manufacturer of a well-known energy drink. You don’t need Red Bull to give you wings. You see, the V100 Mandello, Moto Guzzi’s latest sports tourer, comes ...
HELLO MOTO! Moto Guzzi’s V100 Mandello review: Fast sport-touring with style only Italians can deliver. Edited by Rob Gill; Published: 9:36 ET, Sep 19 2021; ... Moto Guzzi's V100 Mandello promises to provide fast sport-touring capability but combined with a sprinkling of style that only the Italians seem to be able to really deliver.
The V100 Mandello is the perfect fusion of the dynamism of a Roadster and the comfort of an authentic Tourer. A bike that makes every corner a thrill and even the longest of trips supremely comfortable for rider and passenger alike, it is packed with new technologies that portent an exciting future, including unprecedented adaptive aerodynamics.
Moto Guzzi ‘s rolling duty is also covered by new wire units, rounding up to an edited tail, exhaust and neat rear mudguard. Judging by the shape of the heart, Bezzi’s Guzzi still carries the V100 Mandello ’s liquid-cooled, 1,042cc transverse V-twin capable of 115hp and 77.4 lb-ft of torquedos – all of which has been updated with ...
