Honda - simply the biggest

When describing Honda, it's easy to get into superlatives. Tasting pleasing? 40 billion would have to be created to buy Honda. The nearly 180,000 employees produce 22 million engines every year, which is world class. And so Honda is the world's largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer.

Success after a short time

Honda is on the road in many areas, but the company itself is a rather young company. Honda was founded on September 24, 1948 and bears the name of its founder, Saichiro Honda (see black and white photo below). The first products were auxiliary motors for bicycles. Today, the Japanese build cars, motorcycles, outboard engines, micro-heat-coupling systems and motor equipment such as lawnmowers. There is also a business jet to buy through the Honda Aircraft Company.

The founders of Honda formulated a corporate philosophy from an early age. The basis of philosophy is respect for the uniqueness of man and his individuality. "Together, we have the vision to bring joy to people all over the world with our products and to be able to work for a company 'that society wants to exist'".

The world's first Superbike

The German headquarters are located in Offenbach am Main. From here the scooters and motorcycles are sold. The model range is very extensive. Honda does not specialize in specific designs. Outstanding bikes are, for example, the legendary Africa Twin or the mother of all Superbikes, the Honda CB 750 Four.

Reliability, good workmanship and a solid price-performance ratio connect most motorcyclists with the Honda machines. Honda has been racing for a long time and is very successful. The Japanese have been world champions in brand or driver titles for many years with a certain regularity.

Advantage Honda

Germans often buy sensibly, which is no different with actually essentially unreasonable products such as a motorcycle. Advantage Honda: In contrast to coveted and considered "cool" brands, the products are bought and not just adored.
