5th edition of the Honda Adventure Roads

Start in Rome/Italy, destination is Istanbul in Turkey

 
On Whit Sunday (8 June 2025), the fifth edition of the Honda Adventure Roads event will take place in the Italian capital of Rome. There are 35 riders from 19 nations at the start. Ahead of them is an epic journey through the Balkan region, culminating nine days later in the Turkish capital Istanbul with the finish line, crossing six other countries along the way – Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia and Greece.

· The 5th Honda Adventure Roads event kicks off on June 8. The start is in Rome/Italy, the destination is Istanbul in Turkey.

· The 2,500 km long route takes 35 participants over adventurous asphalt, gravel and off-road passages and through 8 countries.

· Everyone controls Honda's flagship adventure, the proven robust CRF1100L Africa Twin.

· Honda HRC Dakar riders accompany the participants and support them with practical advice and tips.

Once again, the Adventure Roads riders will be driving Honda's flagship adventure bike, the CRF1100L Africa Twin. Legendary reliability and balance combined with universal touring talents make this machine the ideal partner to master this 2,500 km challenge on asphalt, gravel and through off-road passages.

First, the Honda Adventure Roads tour heads east through Italy to the coast before crossing the Adriatic Sea by ferry to Croatia and then heads further south to pass the stunning coasts of Croatia and Montenegro. Then head inland through Albania to the picturesque Lake Ohrid in Macedonia. The route winds further inland into Greece before running along the Aegean coastal road to Thasos and Alexandropolis, passing through Turkey to Istanbul.
