Since the 2018 model year, the large touring motorcycle Gold Wing has been more compact and lighter. Comfort is provided by an electronic gas handle, four driving modes, HSTC traction control and a mountain approach aid. The suspension damper characteristic is electrically adjustable, as is the spring preload on the rear-wheel damper. An electrically adjustable windshield, a smart key system and Apple CarPlay™ complete the equipment. The six-cylinder four-cylinder four-cylinder boxer engine is available with either a classic gearbox or a third-generation Honda seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The Gold Wing models of the 2020 model year benefit from various updates in the tuning of the engine and the dual-clutch transmission. The aim of the improvements was to increase manoeuvrability at low speeds.
