New motorcycle registrations March 2025

 

The motorcycle market is more dependent on the weather than almost any other market. If the weather is bad, hardly anyone comes to the chic sales halls of the dealers. If the sun is shining, you almost have to take a waiting ticket. Apparently, the weather in March was not so great, otherwise the sales figures for motorcycles reported by the IVM can hardly be explained. However, perhaps the "shock sales" at the end of last year due to the Euro5+ changeover still play a role.

 

Striking in the March figures: BMW sells only 3,000 (March 2025) instead of 5,000 bikes (March 2024). At Triumph, on the other hand, things look better. It was the only manufacturer to increase in March 2025 compared to the previous year, albeit only by 3 percent. Nevertheless, 4th place in terms of market share is certainly a success for the British. Here are the registration figures of the top 50 motorcycles in Germany in March 2025.
