Photos: Kawasaki 8,000 visitors and two main winners!
Ideal external conditions formed the perfect setting for the approx. 8,000 visitors to the Kawasaki Days at the Technik Museum Speyer (15 and 16 June 2024). At least two of the guests will certainly never forget this weekend. Because they won one of the two motorcycles that were raffled off by Kawasaki among all guests.
The motorcycle parking lot for visitors was already an attraction for all motorcycle fans. Many current and classic highlights were to be discovered there. Just like on the festival grounds, where the big program started on Saturday from 10:00 a.m.: Motorcycle stunts by Chris Rid and breathtaking MX freestyle action by Robert Naumann and his team thrilled the masses - just like the steep wall riders of Jagath Perera, who completely exhausted the laws of gravity in their arena. This year even with an all-electric Z e-1, which glided along the wooden wall completely silently. On the dealer and partner mile, visitors then returned to the real world. There was a lot to see, and valuable contacts could be made.
In the hangar at the festival grounds, the stage including a large relaxation area was once again located this year. Over a cool drink, the guests were entertained by the ROCK-FM team or listened to various lectures and conversations with prominent guests. The special exhibition on the topic of "40 Years of Ninja" showed many milestones and current models. The children were particularly happy about the gummy bear throwing machine, which was operated by a Kawasaki robot. And if you wanted to impress your girlfriend (or boyfriend) with your driving skills, you showed your best hanging-off on the ninja driving simulator.
The absolute highlight on both days, however, was the big raffle for the ninja anniversary. Every visitor could pick up a participation wristband free of charge. The consecutive number on it went into the lottery pot at the same time, and the big showdown took place in the afternoon. The hangar was filled to the last seat on both days for the draw, and the tension was palpable. On Saturday, Marc-Alexander from Biblis and his son Silas were able to take home the Ninja 650 in the red and black anniversary livery. On Sunday, Jascha from Otzberg won the Ninja ZX-4RR in a beautiful 40th anniversary outfit just in time for his 20th birthday.
Outside, Kawasaki's roadshow team really delivered throughout the event. The test fleet was booked throughout, and more than 400 test runs in the Speyer area were completed. Kawasaki would like to thank all visitors, exhibitors and the entire team in Speyer!
