127,000 participants in the Triumph Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2025
Another record-breaking year for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR), with 127,000 motorcyclists worldwide dressing up this year and starting their bikes to raise a total of $7.6 million in donations for men's health. The top three fundraisers, who collectively contributed nearly $170,000, were rewarded with brand new bikes from TRIUMPH's Modern Classics range.
On Sunday, May 18, the time had come: In 108 countries worldwide, around 127,000 riders swung on their motorcycles in elegantly chic clothing at 1,038 events, making 2025 another record year for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) charity event at the "Rides". The DGR is officially the world's largest charity event for lovers of classic and historically styled motorcycles.
The aim of the joint trip: to collect attention and donations for the Movember Foundation, which is committed to men's health . It is a matter of honour that TRIUMPH not only organises its own team, but as one of the main sponsorsraffles off several of its iconic bikes to the best fundraisers every year.
The overall winner in 2025 is Canadian Joseph Mancinelli from Ontario, who can look forward to a Bonneville Scrambler 1200 Icon Edition . Driving in Hamilton (southwest of Toronto), he raised $62,624. Since his first participation in 2017, Mancinelli has already raised a staggering $550,000 in total.
2nd and 3rd place went to Andrew Cook of Idaho ($56,400) and Nick Politis of Florida ($49,999.20). As a reward, the two Americans can each choose a motorcycle from TRIUMPH's Modern Classics model range .
Joseph Mannion from Manchester, UK, is the winner of the Gentlefolk Prize. This lottery pot is open to all those who have earned the badge for participating and collecting donations at the DGR. Mannion receives a brand new Bonneville Bobber.
Among all DGR fundraising groups, TEAM TRIUMPH grew to 491 dedicated riders this year. Representatives of the global TRIUMPH community raised a total of $130,000; the top five fundraisers won exclusive garments from the DGR & TRIUMPH collection.
WELL-KNOWN NAMES, ICONIC BIKES
Part of TEAM TRIUMPH this year included 007 stunt coordinator Lee Morrison (on a Bonneville Bobber) and four-time Enduro World Champion and 007 stunt rider Paul Edmondson (on a Scrambler 400 X) in Warwickshire, UK. Paul Edmondson said: "What an event! It's great to see so many TRIUMPH and other classic bikes in one place – and it's a great platform for our biker community. A lot of money has also been raised for a cause that is very close to my heart and so many others."
In Stockholm, the bassist of the industrial metal band Deathstars, Skinny Kangur, rode a Bonneville T120 Icon Edition and said: "What a great day! A fantastic event made possible by the hosts of DGR Stockholm and their sponsors. A very special thank you goes to everyone who contributed to the fundraising campaign. We have raised about 110,000 Swedish kronor (about $11,500) that will be used to fight prostate cancer and mental illness."
2025 marks the tenth year in which all donations collected by the DGR go to the Movember Foundation . The world's leading charity advocates for men's health, funding health and research projects, and providing mental health and suicide prevention services, as well as prostate cancer and testicular cancer research. To mark the occasion, Dan Cooper, Director of Global Innovations at Movember, presented a custom-designed, hand-decorated TRIUMPH tank to Ramsey Sayed of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride at the event in London.
Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer of TRIUMPH Motorcycles, said: "Thank you to all the incredible fundraisers who raise such large sums of money for Movember at DGR year after year. We are delighted to reward the top four with iconic models from our Modern Classic range. We also welcome everyone who put on their best outfits for the first time, collected money and joined the ride. It's been fantastic to see so many riders with their TRIUMPH bikes – including some magnificent examples from the new Modern Classic range, special editions, vintage models and custom bikes – show how much our community cares about men's health."
Mark Hawwa, founder of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, said: "Our 14th Distinguished Gentleman's Ride did not disappoint. 2025 was our most successful year so far – not only in terms of the donations raised, but also in terms of the people reached and the conversations initiated. Together with TRIUMPH Motorcycles, we are driving a movement that saves lives and reminds people around the world that men's health is important everywhere.
The support of TRIUMPH Motorcycles has made this year extra special with the great craftsmanship of the hand-painted custom tank to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the partnership with Movember. Thank you to the worldwide TRIUMPH family, all the riders, donors and volunteers who made 2025 our biggest year yet."
The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, the world's largest and most stylish charity motorcycle event on the road, will next take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
