Stupid, every year again

It is the same every year: the favourite moped goes into the weather-related hibernation, and you spend the next hour on public transport. With helmet. So that this doesn't look too stupid, I cook the motorcycle cramps for the last ride of the year with my own bike down as civilly as possible.
And now? Rent test bikes without end, buy winter mopeds, be satisfied with the scooter?
