BMW Motorrad Days and Pure&Crafted Festival attract fans from all over the world to the German capital.

The 20th edition of the BMW Motorrad Days on 2 & 3 July 2022 was a complete success. Immediately before the world's largest BMW Motorrad meeting, the Pure&Crafted Festival took place (1 July). Throughout the weekend, around 17,000 visitors from all over the world were guests of BMW Motorrad at the exhibition grounds in Berlin, creating an incomparable atmosphere.

The fans with and without motorcycles came not only from Germany and neighboring countries, but from over 40 nations. While visitors from Italy and the UK were traditionally strongly represented, the first edition of the BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin was attended by a number of guests from the Berlin-Brandenburg region, Poland and Argentina, as well as a few fans from as far away as South Korea, Colombia and South Africa.

Already on Friday (1 July), the Pure&Crafted Festival kicked off a great motorcycle weekend. The festival, initiated by BMW Motorrad, took place for the second time in the Summer Garden of Messe Berlin and delivered the usual mixture of handmade music, motorcycle culture and new heritage lifestyle. The acoustic highlights were provided by Nothing But Thieves, the rockers Altin Gün and the London The Vaccines.

The extensive programme of the BMW Motorrad Days taking place on Saturday and Sunday (2 & 3 July) left nothing to be desired. Several streetbike stunt shows as well as trial and FMX shows could not be missed as well as the steep wall riders in the Original Motodrom, the oldest still traveling steep wall in the world. The customizing fans got their money's worth on the subject of converted motorcycles in the Wheels Area. The motorsport enthusiasts were delighted with the BMW Motorrad WorldSBK riders and members of the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team.

In addition, tours with the entire product range through the charming surroundings of Berlin and Brandenburg were offered. First driving tests without a driver's license and enduro taster training could also be experienced. And the factory tours of the BMW Motorrad plant, which for the first time provided an insight into international motorcycle production as part of the BMW Motorrad Days, were also a unique highlight for many visitors. In addition to the entire BMW Motorrad product portfolio, the stands of over 100 exhibitors could also be viewed on site in the extensive exhibition and exhibition area. In the Kids Area, the little ones got their money's worth: lots of exciting games and a specially set up Kids Bike Parcours ensured enthusiasm among the motorcyclists of tomorrow.

New to the program was the General Store known from Pure&Crafted with numerous other exhibitors from the lifestyle sector as well as a "The House of Machines" bar with the Marshall Live Music stage. Speaking of music: as headliner, the band The Darkness provided a party atmosphere, and Nestor, Gen and the Degenerates andGallus really heated up the visitors.

The BMW Motorrad Days have long been regarded as a traditional event and have a firm place in every biker calendar. In 2001, the event took place for the first time in Seefeld, Austria, followed by 18 editions in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In 2020 and 2021, the event was not held due to the global pandemic situation.
