The devices of the Spider series have made a big technological leap. The two intercoms
Spider ST1 (with rotary knob) and Spider RT1 (with buttons) have long been known as an inexpensive solution for
effective group communication. Now SENA has equipped it with Mesh Intercom™ 3.0 – the
latest development of the in-house transmission protocol. The upgrade is intended to improve the position
of the two Spider models as one of the best price-performance solutions on the market
consolidate.

 

Mesh 3.0 for all length reserved only for high-end models, Mesh 3.0 technology has now also arrived in the mid-price segment. With an MSRP of €229, the SPIDER models offer all the benefits of mesh: instant connection, automatic reconnection, up to 2km range – without the limitations of classic Bluetooth, which is limited to 4 users and often drops out during group interruptions.



With the competition, you usually pay significantly more for comparable functions. Open Mesh or Group Mesh: Freedom and clear communication. Two communication modes are available:

• Open Mesh™ – for free conversations with an unlimited number of participants on six available channels.
• Group Mesh™ (private group) – for closed communication with up to 24 riders and full control over the connections.

If a user temporarily loses the group, for example during an overtaking maneuver, he is automatically reconnected as soon as the group is back in radio range. This is another convenience feature of Mesh 3.0 that is simply not possible with classic Bluetooth intercoms
