New cross-over motorcycle based on the Trident 660

Triumph's new motorcycle is based on the new triple of the Trident 660 on the engine side. In addition to the engine, the frame, exhaust system and wheels are also to be taken over from the Trident. New are the fairing, seating position and ergonomics and the higher rear frame, which can accommodate a suitcase system. For pillion comfort, there is also a modified bench seat and integrated grab handles. The handlebar is also raised and wider. Thanks to the fairing and high windshield, the bike should offer a reasonable windbreak. The new motorcycle should prove to be very agile and lightweight. There will also be an A2 version of the Sport 660. Triumph with the new Sport 660 should target the Yamaha Tracer 7 and Kawasaki Versys 650. The start of the new bike is the spring of 2022. Prices are not yet known. We bet on well under 10,000 euros.
