166 Nm of power and a top speed of 167 km/h promise unlimited driving pleasure

Zero Motorcycles, the world's leading manufacturer of electric motorcycles and drivetrains, presents a new edition of the successful and longest available street bike, the Zero SR. The SR is the most adaptable motorcycle ever and shares the award-winning platform with its high-performance sister, the Naked Bike Zero SR/F. The street bike is powered by the ZF 75-10 engine and is – as the first Zero motorcycle ever – equipped with a Z-FORCE 14.4+ kWh battery. Zero fans can look forward to a torque of 166 Nm and 55 kW and a top speed of 167 km/h with the Zero SR. The new Z-FORCE 14.4+ lithium-ion battery gives the SR a maximum range of 365 km when combined with the available Cypher Store upgrades and Power Tank accessories, which are expected to be available in autumn 2022. The Zero SR is available now at all Zero dealers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

"The Zero SR established the electric street bike category. With its steel mesh frame, coaxial power pivot chassis and superior battery performance, it is at the forefront of electric mobility in two-wheelers in terms of performance, design and technology," said Abe Askenazi, CTO of Zero Motorcycles.

The new Zero SR is controlled by the all-new Cypher III+ operating system and is equipped with the ZF 14.4+ kWh Power Pack, which can be expanded to 17.3 kWh via the Cypher Store. With the additional Power Tank, expected to be available in autumn 2022, the total capacity of the SR battery can be increased to 20.9 kWh – the largest battery capacity ever offered by Zero. Speed and performance boosts or even a parking mode can be activated via the Cypher Store. In addition, this unlocks the full performance of the engine. In addition, the SR is equipped with Advanced Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control, which, in addition to straight-line ABS, traction control and drag torque control, also enables safe cornering.

The 2022 SR is available in the color variant Graphite and costs € 19,390 in Germany, € 19,550 in Austria and CHF 20,050 in Switzerland.
