With the highly accessible Scrambler 1200 X and a further development of the top-equipped Scrambler 1200 XE, TRIUMPH is introducing two new Scrambler models for 2024. Both bikes rely on a high-torque 1200cc Bonneville engine, off-road 21-inch front wheels and the high quality and build quality and build that TRIUMPH has come to expect. In doing so, they raise the bar even higher for performance and style in the scrambler category.
The new 1200 X offers the features of this bike category appreciated by scrambler fans, such as the upright riding position and high torque, and combines them with a wide range of equipment and state-of-the-art technology. The seat height is 820 mm and can be reduced to 795 mm with the optionally available low seat. At a reduced price, it offers extensive features and exceptional functionality. Long maintenance intervals of 16,000 km (or once a year) also ensure low operating costs.
Two new Scramblers for 2024: the new 1200 X and the further developed 1200 XE.
Also new for 2024 is the further developed Scrambler 1200 XE. It features updates such as the latest generation Brembo Stylema® calipers, a new chassis with improved adjustments, new styling details and better touring capability.
Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer: "Built for both on-road and off-road adventures, the new Scrambler 1200 XE sets new standards in performance, handling and modern classic style. Scrambler 1200 XE for 2024: Benchmarks in performance, handling and "modern classic" style.
Impressive performance
Both models are equipped with the same 1200cc Bonneville twin engine and high-torque scrambler mapping. A new 50mm throttle body and revised exhaust manifold provide improved flow and therefore a wider distribution of torque in the upper rpm range, from 5,000 rpm to the red zone. In addition, the heat radiation of the raised exhaust to the right driver's leg has been significantly reduced.
The 2024 models have been fine-tuned to ensure the perfect balance of power delivery for on-road and off-road use. The peak power now comes a little earlier in the rev range, the 90 hp are already released at 7,000 rpm and the maximum torque of 110 Nm is also available earlier, namely at 4,250 rpm.
The distinctive, high-lying dual exhaust system is completed by brushed stainless steel mufflers that produce the characteristic, deep scrambler sound.
