MOTORCYCLE Readers' Choice 2021

These are the winners of the reader's choice of the magazine "Motorrad"

The magazine "MOTORRAD" asked its readers about their favorite bikes and 51,333 people responded. There were 204 motorcycle models from all categories to choose from. The results of the reader's choice are hardly surprising. BMW did particularly well in the election.

The individual categories from which readers could choose their favourite bikes are sometimes somewhat strange. Why, for example, do Supermotos belong to the Enduros category and what does a BMW R 1250 GS have to look for in the Enduro category? Why are there no single cateorie adventure bikes or travel enduros? Well, let's not complain, but rejoice that the motorcycle magazine starts such surveys at all.

The blue-and-white models from Munich are particularly popular with bikers. With a total of 5 first, 3 second and 4 third places, BMW Motorrad has never achieved its best result since the existence of this reader's choice. The head of BMW Motorrad, Dr. Markus Schramm, comments on the reader's choice as follows:

"Together with all employees of BMW Motorrad, I am very pleased about the successful performance of our models and would like to thank the readers of the magazine MOTORRAD for their great support on behalf of the entire BMW Motorrad team. The result is of course also a great incentive to continue to do everything possible to defend our leading position in the motorcycle market with great products in all segments we serve."
