Launched in 2022, the Honda NT1100 is a touring rider's dream. The active all-rounder combines wind and weather protection with seating comfort as well as the latest technologies with useful equipment features. The machine, which is equipped with luggage cases, heated grips, cruise control and centre stand as standard, enjoys great popularity and already landed in first place in the large-volume touring machine segment in Europe in 2023.
· Revised fairing design sharpens the visual appearance
· LED twin headlights with new DRL daytime running lights and integrated turn signals
· Increased performance at medium speeds, improved all-round performance
· Control electronics upgraded with six-axis sensors and cornering ABS
· Increased seat comfort, optimised windscreen, more luggage case volume
· New NT1100 DCT Electronic Suspension variant with electronically controlled Showa EERATM suspension elements and DCT dual-clutch transmission
The facelift for the 2025 vintage includes a modernised design for the fairing and rear section. The LED double headlight shines with new DRL daytime running lights and integrated turn signals and provides a particularly elegant front signature. The height-adjustable windscreen can now be operated with one hand, while the upper and lower wind deflectors have been modified to support weather protection even more efficiently.
The two-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 1,084 cc has been specifically revised – on the intake and exhaust sides as well as in terms of combustion – in order to generate even more punch from low and medium engine speeds. As a result, the maximum torque has been successfully increased by 7% to 112 Nm. The peak output is still 102 hp or 75 kW. The economical twin meets the Euro 5+ standard and enables a range of 400 km with the 20-litre tank.
Optimised seat upholstery allows for more comfort on longer rides. The side panniers have been given an enlarged volume to accommodate a full-face helmet each. As further protection against wind and weather, an extended front fender improves splash protection on rain-soaked roads.
The control electronics with newly integrated six-axis gyro sensors control safety-enhancing traction control including wheelie control, rear wheel lift detection and cornering ABS, which is new for 2025. Depending on the driving style and the respective situation, the driver can choose from three pre-programmed assistance driving programs (Urban, Tour, Rain) or configure two user modes individually.
The NT1100 is offered with a foot-shifted six-speed gearbox and optionally with Honda's DCT dual-clutch transmission. The automated DCT technology has also been revised for 2025 to improve gear changes, especially at low speeds. The control is linked to the electronics of the advanced Drive by Wire throttle grip control to support smooth operation even in corners and lean angles.
As a new model for 2025, the NT1100 DCT Electronic Suspension debuts with electronically controlled Showa EERA™ suspension front and rear. This variant offers optimised semi-active damping in all riding situations – as well as the option of adjusting the spring preload on the rear wheel while riding. The unique dual-clutch transmission is standard equipment on this high-end model.
The 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen, which is easy to read even in sunlight, offers Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® smartphone connectivity. A 12-volt on-board socket and USB charging socket, self-resetting turn signals and ESS emergency braking signal system complete the already generous standard equipment.
